Does anyone know of and DNN Module Templates that work for VS 2010 Express? I have tried

http://christoctemplate.codeplex.com/
and

http://dnnmodule.codeplex.com/

But every time I try to create a new project I get the following error

The project File 'Filepath' cannot be opened. The project type is not supported by this installation.

Anyone else have any issues like this?

Thanks,

Chris

Anyone know a solution to this?

I tried installing the starter kits, and creating as a website project. When using the C# dynamic module, When I enter a Module name and hitting add I get the following Error: Value does not fall within the expected range.

Thanks

Chris

Free VS 2010 Express fpr Web Developers (VWD) does support both, dynamic and compiled modules, both templates should work without issues. Besides, did you read http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Blogs/EntryId/3263/Let-rsquo-s-Build-a-Module.aspx ?

Sebastian,

I installed a Trial Version of VS 2010 and the templates worked correctly, but with Express, even with a uninstall/reinstall I am still getting the above errors, when trying either way to create a module.

Do you have any idea what these errors mean? or how to fix them?

Chris
