Hi Guys,

I am new to DNN. I want to integrate my own code in default.aspx. I wanted to connect Mysql database and displays the results in gridview in default.aspx. Is it possible to write my own code in default.aspx??

Thanks

I'm not sure about the MySql part. DNN uses MSSQL database, but you might want to check out the Form and List module for displaying your data http://dnnfnl.codeplex.com/

Another approach might be to create your own custom module http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Video-Library/Viewer/VideoId/15/Basic-DotNetNuke-Module-Development.aspx

Modifying the default.aspx page is not advisable.

Richard is spot on, you definitely want to create a custom module, not make any modifications to default.aspx

Check out the Module Development wiki as well
