Have placed a small image (we'll call it a thumbnail) into a text module and want to link it to a larger version of the same image so that it opens in a pop-up. Simple thing to do you would think.

Previously, creating a link to a larger version of the image was very simple - right click, hyperlink, select larger image in the file area, open in pop-up, save. Click on small image which of course would open the larger image into the popup window.

However something has changed and the link ONLY wants to go to a document like a pdf. The images are not being seen in the file area.

What's changed?

I could use a photo gallery which would open images with a lightbox effect but thats not the point.

Help please!

Thx in advance.

When I read your message I thought you were missing something basic, but I can confirm that image files are not available from the hyperlink document manager. Nor can you link from the image properties dialog or image manager. Very odd. It must be an oversight or a bug of some sort. I think it must have to do with the HTML editor provider being used. I'm looking at a site that was upgraded from 5.x to 6.1

OK, just changed the HTML  Editor Provider from the TelerikEditorProvider to the DotNetNuke.RadEditorProvider under Host/HTML Editor Manager. I can now see and link images using the hyperlink manager so it is specific to the Telerik provider.

Thanks for the solution.

Spent an age digging around trying to find a solution. Perhaps not the bug can be fixed.

I'll change the editor in use.
