Hi

I am relatively new to DNN. I am trying to debug a problem with a website that was built by someone else, using DNN.

There is an upload file button. When the customer tries to upload the file, he gets an error message: A critical error has occurred.
StartIndex cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: startIndex.

So, I tried opening the website using Visual Studio 2005, and press the run button. I figured I could use the development server to try & find where it is going wrong. Unfortunately, it won't compile. In fact - 102 errors.

I am surprised the website works at all, Is this normal?

recent versions (past few years) require vs.net 2008 to work and expect to be running under .net 3.5sp1, so I would recommend you check both of those things.
