Hi , I am using multiple modules in my pages and want to ajaxify them. I have uses radajaxmanager but it has an issue that i can use only one radajaxmanager in one page but i cannot decide on which module i have to add it.  I want to find some standard way to ajaxify my modules.(I have also tried radproxymanager but it also doesn't fulfill my need).

Hi,

you can activate AJAX just with the settings of your module.

  1. log in as host
  2. from the menu: Host->Extention manager
  3. Edit your module
  4. Select the module control you want to activate the AJAX fot
  5. the checkbox for ajax is at the bottom.

If your module has multiple controls, you need to repeat this action for all controls.

One remark: the FileUpload control of .NET does not work fine with AJAX, you need to exclude the upload button from the ajax system:

If DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.IsInstalled Then
                    DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.RegisterScriptManager()
                    DotNetNuke.Framework.AJAX.RegisterPostBackControl(btnUploadSelectedFile)
End If
