Mark,

Let's take a step back and work on the skin issue.

Visit your website and log in using the host or superuser account. Go to the page titled "news and promotions". When the page loads, hover over the very top menu link titled "Pages" and select "Page Settings" from the pop-up menu. There will be 3 tabs. Click the last one titled "Advanced Settings". Scroll down about half-way and there should be a dropdown list titled "Page Skin". Click that dropdown list and see if your skin is there and let us know.

Mark,

My skins do not show up. Only the Dark Night selections.

God Bless,

Mark

Attn: Mark Eckeard or Pingle:

What if I gave one of you my logon info and you took a look around to try to figure things out. I would be glad to pay you to do this. I really need to get this resolved and at least rule out a configuration issue. I just installed yet another extension and can't see it.

Thank you and God Bless,

Mark

Hi Mark,

That was going to be my next suggestion as we seem to going around in circles here without a first hand view of things. However, I see from another thread that you are going to delete the installation and start again, so will leave that for the time being.

I don't know who your hosting provider is or whether they have any DNN support staff but I would definitely speak to them about the problems and see if they can help with the installation. I would definitely encourage you to use a DNN 'specialist' hosting provider if you are in a position to do so.

Pingle,

I don't think my hosting provider has a DNN support staff, but they are helpful but they don't support DNN functionality. I really don't think this is their issue, because I had been able to install other extensions. Also there were folders and files installed for those apps. Snooping around the database I noticed that the extensions were listed as data in some tables, but the extensions that worked has tables named after them. I also noticed that the extensions that worked were deployed from within DNN. The ones that did not work, we installed by the extension wizard. I don't know if that is significant, but something to consider.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you for your time and effort. I really appreciate it.

God Bless,

Mark
