I am new to DNN

My problem is that the DNN site that is hosted in my local IIS, displaying different login page than the one in the production site.

How Do I know it is different? The layout and text is different.

Any Idea why this could happen? any area that I should look into?

If anyone can help will be very much appreciated

Thanks

I checked that setting and the value is "non specified".

another thing is that the site is using custom .net authentication module.

Technically if I copied over the database from prod to dev and also copied all files from prod to dev,

it should display the same login page.

I've got a feeling that the site which is in dev is displaying the default authentication module

any other approach to tackle this issue?

I am sorry my understanding on DNN is very limited

thanks

if no Login page is specified, DNN displays the the login control. Content of this control depends on the authentication providers being enabled and configured in Admin >Extensions.

I cant login to my dev site since the login page is different and my normal password that I use to login to the live site is not working.

In the live site setting

Portal Admin->Extensions

I can see that all the default authentication providers (openID,LiveID,Default) are disabled and only the custom authentication provider is enabled.

Thanks

Steven
