Hello all,

I'm a complete noob when it comes to cms-systems. I have no experience whatever with DNN. But after a researching various cms-systems I found that DNN was the most complete and well documented one for windows servers. So I thought it would be handy to follow the instructions shown in the various video's online, all using the demosite awesome cycles, to get acquainted with it. However after installing the latest version of DNN it didn't show up. It gave a complete different page and the site only has a homepage. So is the demosite removed in the last version, or is there a specific setting to get it installed?

the Default template has been modified since version DNN 7.3.0 and just contains a single page now.
You may either install DNN 7.2.2 and apply the upgrade or start from the new template (at least, there are less pages to delete ;))
You might want to install additional modules, e.g. a Feedback form (http://dnnfeedback,codeplex.com), a Gallery (e.g. http://www.oliverhine.com/DotNetNuke/...) - check out the Forge, codeplex and the store for more Options.

Kind a late reaction from my side, sorry for that Sebastian. But thanks for the info, this works perfect. It's easier to follow the tuts on youtube this way.
