Yea, I have never seen that page. I also noticed that the URL that the link takes me to is not even similar. It doesn't include /login/ctl/PasswordReset/etc....

The reset link in the email takes me to the default homepage (login page) with URL:  .../default.aspx?ctl=PasswordReset&resetToken=0a7c2d2e-c794-43c3-a9a5-92f30a4f10bc

How would I go about fixing this issue?

the url can be different - we use a custom login page here, and the path is rewritten as we use advanced urls (in fact your problem may be related to using a custom login module, it's hard to say without seeing the site) - a more common path might be http://localhost/dnn_platform/default.aspx?ctl=PasswordReset -see if that loads the password reset control. If you can work out the correct url, you can update App_GlobalResources\GlobalResources.resx to point to it

wow, I know what's going on, but still not sure how to fix it. I feel really stupid for not catching this instantly, but last week was HELL. I had to go to the doctor like 4 times.

 Anyways, here's what's going on. The password reset link is perfectly fine. I wasn't paying attention to the URL it was taking me to upon clicking on it though. When clicking on it, it takes me to the homepage (login screen) because it redirects to the "https" homepage instead of "http" which is in the URL of the password reset link. My server is set up to require SSL, and has to stay like that. Once I pasted the link directly into the address bar and changed the http to https, it worked fine; however, the email that gets sent to the user needs to be changed. How do I access the email message that gets sent so that I can changed the URL to "https" and NOT "http"?

the relevant text can be found in App_GlobalResources\GlobalResources.resx -you can edit it directly there or via the UI (admin->languages)
