Hi I am newbie at DNN, it is a great CMS, but i have some questions to open a specific part of my site.

I would like to show a page with some images and texts based on a user.

 How can we do this?

Best Regards,

Geraldo

Is it one specific user, or a collection of users? Is it at the page level that you want to control the display, or the module level?

Pages and modules allow you to secure, or display content by username. You can find that in the permissions section of the module and page settings. So you could have two modules on a page, one for regular users and one for Geraldo. You can find videos on site administration here: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/videos

Within HTML modules you can do a token replacement if you want to customize a greeting like "Welcome [USERNAME]". Learn more about that here: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/page/...

If you are looking at having pages for specific users then the most common approach is some sort of custom module that handles the layout for you.

http://www.smartrebrander.com/TheLibr...
has an example of custom modules that let individual users have their own pages

http://www.smartrebrander.com/lp/forw...
http://www.smartrebrander.com/lp/timp...
http://www.smartrebrander.com/lp/heid...

Technically/internally all those pages are hosting on the same dnn tab - a couple of custom modules are used to display specific user based on the username in the url.
And the user can edit the content of their own page using a custom html style module and other stuff too such as upload their own content and links.

BUT this is not dnn out of the box - it does require custom modules to achieve this sort of look.

Another alternative could be to let users create their own blog pages - you could use that as a sort of custom landing page for users - each with their own blog that they could publish content too.
