Hello All,

I am experiencing something, I just installed the DNN and successfully set it up. After that I opened the website. and the web site looks like it has no stylesheet loaded at all. it's just a site with styles.

Could anybody please assist me and give a hint of what could be the issue.

Appreciated.

Thanks,
~Haroon

please check permissions for anonymous users - try downloading one of the Images by entering ist URL in the browser address bar.

Thanks Sebastian for your reply,

However, I am not pretty sure what you mean by anonymous user. I am using Windows 7. I just extracted the zip file and opened the project in Visual studio Express 2012. I tried to go to the default.css and try to download one of the background images for one of the classes there, and I was able to see it in the browser.

Now, now looks like all my stylesheet files and javascript files are not being loaded correctly.

Any suggestions please.

Regards!

it depends on the web Server the site runs on, which user is utillized for anonymous users to deliver files. If using Visual Studio, you might consider using IIS rather than IIS Express, which doesn't come with an admin UI

I Have faced the same issue, we found the solution....

1. go to IIS manager.

2.  go to sites > select your site

3.  edit permissions (on right side probably)

4.  go to security tab

5.  Edit Permission give all rights to NetworkService

hope you find it usefull
