I am new to DNN, and have been tasked with changing the page title breadcrumbs from ">" to "|". None of the possible solutions I have come across online make any sense to me. We are running DNN8.0. Apparently skin objects are depreciated. In any case, I would really appreciate someone spelling out for a dummy how to do this specific task. I am afraid all of the other possible solutions I have come across have been too sparely explained.

My guess is you'll need to find the page template of your skin package and find the breadcrumb in the template. If I were to change mine, I would need to open the ascx template page and change the following code.

<dnn:breadcrumb id="dnnBREADCRUMB" rootlevel="0" cssclass="breadcrumb" separator="  >  " runat="server"></dnn:breadcrumb>

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately "dnnBREADCRUMB" doesn't come up when I search my root folder in my IDE.

Skin files are located in the Skin folder which is:

~/Portals/_default(or the portal you are working on)/Skins/THEMENAME
