i haven't actually used DNN since its 4.x versions and i decided to use the latest 5.5.0 version for a client's simple site. So, i've installed a fresh instance on my local machine but 90% of the time some page tries to load, i get timeout requests errors. The only thing in my installation is the home page with an html content and the change i made in order to disable en-us locale and make my natural locale the default.

My local configuration is a Windows 7 machine with IIS 7.5 and SQL server 2008 Express R2.

Hi Sebastian,

i think that it has to do with my system. When i close all Firefox instances and restart IIS, DNN works as expected.

There are some cases afterward though, that it send time out requests which maybe have to do with the memory used by the browser (i have 4GB RAM on my system).
