I am evaluating dotnetnuke considering performance. Is there any very fast dotnetnuke sites out there? I seem to find only slow and badly configured ones.
To make dotnetnuke load fast from the very first visitor I guess you use a keep alive script but does it differ if you use inline code or code behind or code beside?
My thought is that if you have a certain page inside the dotnetnuke framwork that has only inline code does this page load fast because every dotnetnuke dll doesnt have to be loaded (there is a few dotnetnuke dll I have seen)

the wiki has a bunch of suggestions for optimising dotnetnuke performance - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Wiki/tabid/1409/Page/Performance_best_practices/Default.aspx . Please note, DotNetNuke loads a series of httphandlers and modules as well as performing initialisation code so any .net mapped page (e.g. aspx/asmx) will have to wait for the application to be available (obviously this doesn't apply to non .net pages such as php/asp/html)
