I had previously posted issues with DNN 5.5.1 after upgrading from 5.4.2. It was suggested that I upgrade to 5.6.7. After my most recent upgrade it appears that I am going further backwards.

The initial problem was a sluggish website with 5.4.2, Then upgrading to 5.5.1 and now have 5.6.7

The problems are as follows:

Several attempts to login/logout, several attempts uploading content to website(s),unable to delete Portals, once content uploaded it shows on backside, but not on front side, website slow to load. Also, Event Viewer is no where to be found

Hardware is not being used at all (MEM/CPU)

All was well with this site through last Sat night, Sunday morning all sites were SLOW SLOW SLOW

Any suggestions of where to go next would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi,

Please read my blog post, it could be related to the size of your db log file.

Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Appears things are a bit better, but still faced with having two issues.

When I attempt to delete a Portal I receive this error message:

Error: Portals is currently unavailable.

Next issue. When I attempt to update any DNN module I get this error message. I have attempted one update at a time with same results

If you have reached this page it is because the installer needs to gather some more information, before proceeding.

Suggestions?

Hi,

I have never seen your first error, it's strange. May be something is corrupted in a stored procedure?

The second error tell you than you have to upgrade your instance to use this version of the module. Verify with your vendor the DNN version required for this version of the module.
