I have accedentally deleted the Google analytics module from the module definitions and I can not figure out how to get it back.
  • It is not in the list of available extenstions
  • It is not in the recycle bin
  • I looked in the latest DNN install package and I do not see a resource file for it in the Install directory
  • The code is still available in the DesktopModules/Admin/Analytics folder however

Is there a way to recover a deleted core module?

thanks
Casey

I did the same thing not so long ago..lol

You could just recreate the module using the existing files (HOST > EXTENSIONS > CREATE NEW MODULE). You will need to copy the module settings off another DNN installation.

Or you could do what I did & install ifinity's FREE Google Analytics module: http://www.ifinity.com.au/Products/Google_Analytics_Script_Module
