Hi, using DNN 5.6 trial version.  I have installed a Search Crawler Admin module, is there any documentation on this module that I can read that explains what this module is and how to use it.
Thank you,

i take it you mean you've installed the PE version? The search crawler is part of the professional/enterprise editions and at present I believe only customers have access to the documentation (I'll ask and see if this can be shared elsewhere). I know that a few videos exist for the document manager (which was the other xepient component added to PE), so hopefully they'll be creating similar videos for the search crawler admin soon.

Yes I've installed the Professional Edition on one of our dev servers.  I'm using the trial version right now, and a request for funding to purchase PE has been sent to capital management but our directors want to see a prototype and one of the requirements is to be able to search our intranet sites and docs etc...I'm able to get it to crawl sites on the server locally; however, it fails when pointed to sites off the server dnn is installed on.  I need to know if it's how I have it configured.  Also I can't find an error log to let me know what the fail error is.  The only alert I am receiving is the word fail in the schedule history.  Any help would be appreciated.

probably the best thing to do is email sales@dnncorp.com and see what they can do (either documentation or help from a presales engineer)
