I have a client that is an association, so it's membership is comprised of mostly organizations. Each organization has multiple people that engage in association activities. I plan to have user accounts assigned to each individual person and per organization for users at that organization to share. There is a requirement to have a "profile directory" of organizations as well as select account profiles within each organization. I would also like to make account management easier, for example when an organization leaves the association, to delete all user accounts for that organization. Although the security/management aspects are relatively simple at the moment, there could be a future desire to give select user accounts "administrative" abilities over the organization's profile and the user accounts for that organization.

Before I start to patch something together and make it work, I thought I'd ask if anyone knows of an existing module/provider that addresses these needs. I've tried to search but have come up empty... the terms "organizational", "membership" and "association" generate a lot of noise.
