When I navigate to Host/Host Settings/Other

When I add mp4 to the end of the list, no spaces, comma separating then his update.

The tab closes, however when I reopen the tab mp4 is no longer where I added it.

Hello;
Adding 'mp4' as an Allowable File Extension worked for me in clean install and upgrade scenarios.
Are you using a different DotNetNuke 6 package such as Source or StarterKit?

Is there some immutable reason you are running DotNetNuke 5.1.4?
If you can you really should be on 5.6.3 at least for the security fixes.

In any event you might try adding the mp4 via the database?

An update -- it was 5.5.1

Too, it turns out that Restart Application works.

I would have thought that Update would have been the right button
