I am using the RSS news module against a blog feed. There are things I'd like to change but can't find a way.
  • (This is my main issue). The scrolling starts from the bottom of the available space. This means that - for quite some time (see below) - there is a big section of whitespace, which will gradually reduce as the posts scroll up. That seems a shame. I'd rather the feed get pulled, the first few entries full the available space and then start scrolling. Is this possible?
  • Any way to control the speed of the scrolling. I find it a tad slow.
  • How can I control the vertical real estate given to the control (this may be a basic module usage question - I am still learning!)

Thanks.

Mark

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I launched our new design this morning so I can now point to the page in quesion. It's at http://www.wednet.com. If you scroll down to the home page you will see the area that I have dedicated to the blog feed. It's really frustrating that on first accessing the page there is no content visible in this area and it takes quite a while for the blog posts to start scroling to the "From Our Blog" header.

Preferably I would like the control to fetch enough to fill the area and then start scrolling (so that it is filled initially).

Comments?

Thanks.

No thoughts from anyone so let me try another approach :)....

Does anyone have specific suggestions for third party RSS controls available on Snowcovered that address the issues I have raised (and, in fact, I am interested in recommendations for such controls generally).

Thanks.
