Hello,

I would like to populate a DNN module on a page where the module is able to pick up it's data according to a url parameter.
Something like this: www.mywebsite.com/mywebpage.aspx?id=1

And suppose mywebpage.aspx contained an DNN FAQ module (but could be any DNN module). I would like it to display questions and answers based on the value of the ID parameter. Of course it would need to store this value when adding questions and answers as well.

Is this possible? If so can anyone explain what to do?

Steve

No, the FAQ module doesn't know what ID-x means ... mainly because it was not built to know that.

However, the good news is that the source code for the FAQ module is available, it probably would be a relatively simple task to add that to a modified version of the module.

Hi,

You might want to check out digArticle.  You can organize and filter using categories or tags.

Thanks,
