DNN Ver: 5.6.7
Module: effority.Ealo.HTML.5x.zip

I installed this module for DNN5 and it crashed my entire site. Is there any support from these guys?

If not, anyone know how to uninstall a module when an install brings the whole thing down?

If you go to the DesktopModules folder and delete the folder for that module, you should be able to get the site back up. You may also need to delete dlls from the bin directory.

Ah-ha, very helpful. I had deleted the folder from DesktopModules and checked the bin but that didn't do it. The error message points to the App_Code folder - deleting those files and some references in the web.config finally did it.

Thanks for your help

after deleting the file from app_code, (not /desktopmodules folder!) you should be able to uninstall the module properly from Host > Extensions and it should undo all database changes (or run uninstall.sqldataprovider file manually inside host > SQL). I would perform a database backup prior to this uninstall.
