I have a fresh install of DNN 06.02.03. While testing the module, I deleted a user who had friends and followers. I can still see the the user in the membership directory and the links in the listings appear. When the "add as a friend",  "remove friend" "follow" and "unfollow" links are used, you get the following message "An error occurred while processing the request. Please try again later".

The user also appears on the friend list with the same results on using the links "add as a friend",  "remove friend", "follow" and "unfollow". I was hoping to go live with my new installation but clearly this will be a major problem in using the Social components as the adding and deleting of accounts will happen and leave behind these issues.

How do I clear up the immediate problem?

Why does the deleted user appear in the Members Directory and on Friends?

How do you correctly deleted users?

I have the same issue. How did you go about removing the 'deleted' user from the 'friends' list?

looks like a hard delete from the UserRelationships table works.

I have the same problem but on DNN CE 7.0.2 - deleted users appear in Members Directory.

Seems it was overlooked by DNN testers since I couldn't find any remark in support pages about it.

However, I can't imagine how a site with hundreds (not to mention thousands) users could be cleaned from deleted users one by one through manual deletion by means of SQL manipulation. It looks to me as though some kind of stored procedure is not applied correctly, if at all.

Any feedback on this by those in the know will be welcome.

Yes and there s more. When you develop on let's say dev.mydomain.com and put it live at say www.mydomain.com all hell breaks loose. social groups keeps the original creation url everywhere.

Indeed removed users are still visible in the member directory.

Too bad for a nice feature though.
