I have a clean install of 7.0.2

the journal will not allow a post .

Upon trying, on a new page or on the default journal on profile page it pops up a warning:

header says the page at  "site" says:

Unauthorized

I could not find any events listed related to this

any ideas?

I suggest checking permissions on the page and module.

I have changed permissions,

First i noticed the problem and I was in superuser mode so module or page permission should not be an issue.

Also I set permissions to module and page to new role, manager, logged in as a manager account and still have the problem, looking further i  found more extensive problems so I posted here : http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/forumid/107/postid/478241/scope/posts.aspx#478241

the issue is still unresolved and any help would be greatly appreciated.

1. backup your web.config

2. Open your web.config in a text editor

3. within the web.config file, find the section.

4. If the section says change it to
OR
if it just says , change it to

5. Save the config file.

Elijah,

this could be a very useful information, but the editor stripped all angle brackets. Could you please post it again using square brackets instead, or add spaces after the opening and before the closing bracket like < blabla > or [blabla].

Thank you!

Best wishes
Michael
