I put the Blog module on a page, created a blog post, after which the New_Blog, Search and Comments blog parts disappeared. My host has no ideas. I was wondering if someone here might have any insight.

Apparently the only thing I can do, from the hosts perspective, is back up the site from a recent saved backup.

I'd rather not do this.

Thanks
Bob

The first thing I would do is check to see if they are in the Recycle Bin.

Check to make sure you are still logged in.

Check to see what shows up on the page in LAYOUT mode

You might even try adding the BLOG module back on the page.

I did all those things but the recycle bin. But having now checked that, I 'm still in the same situation. No module parts there.

I removed all module parts from the page and then deleted the page itself. Made a completely new page, with a different name and added the blog module. Still missing some of the parts.

Other thoughts?

Thanks
Bob

If you are on 7.0.0, there was a bug with modules that have multiple parts. It was fixed with 7.0.2 (7.0.3 is latest)
