I am creating a DNN website and want to add a module that will allow clients to upload files. These files will contain patient data and the client will upload 1 file each day. The files will contain patient data that will be processed by our internal systems. The client does not need to see a list of files that were uploaded (maybe it would be nice for them to see a list of files that exist in their folder to determine which files have been processed or not.) Once a file is processed it will be removed from that folder. The client does not need to be able to download the file, once uploaded. Clients will be able to access this module based on their login information. Different logins should not be able to see each other's files.

I looked at the DNN Repository module and it is not quite what I"m looking for. Seems to have too many additional items (e.g. moderator approval, additional disclaimers, etc.) Does anyone have a recommendation for a simple file upload module that can do what I'm requesting?

Regards,

Babak Charepoo

Hi Babak,

Check out DigArticle.  With a little setup, I think you can get what you are looking for.  It has an option where the user can only view their own 'articles', then you can make custom fields to have a 'processed' type status.  Or you could have a unprocessed and processed category so you can filter even more.  There is a 15 day trial you can download and give it a shot.

Thanks
Mike

Babak,

there is a free and easy-to-use SwfUpload module by Oliver Hine.

Best wishes
Michael
