Good day

I wonder if someone can help me please,

I want to add a rotating banner to my website, that consists of 3 images. I want to add the banner to a DNN HTML module

I want the first image to show and then after a few seconds to fade away into the second image, and then the second image to fade away into the third image and then again to the first image?

Thanx

Hi Camerone,

You can put your own images in the banner rotator that is shipped with DNN 6.0.
The banner rotator is on the "Getting Started" page of DNN 6.0. For detail you can view this article.

Thanks,

Is this module called the "Banner Rotator", or what is this module called, if i want to add this module to my page?

Hi Camerone,

This is just normal HTML module. If you are using the DarkKnight skin, then you just keep all the three images in the folder Portals/0/Images/DNN of your website.

1.Add your images to Portals/0/Images/DNN
2. Click on Manage of the HTML module
3. Click on Edit Content
4. Click on HTML
In the HTML you can then change the link, the title, and put in your new image.

Then go to Settings -> Page Settings -> Module Container
and select Host: DarkKnight - Banner and you are done.

Thanks,

Avinash,

I think you might be able to help me, at least I hope so.

I'm trying to add a fading banner like Camerone said, but I don't even know if I have the DarkKnight skin...or any skin? Unfortunately this was just handed to me and I'm pretty confused. If you could help, I would greatly appreciate it!

Rachel
