I have changed my laptop and I'm now running XP with VS2008 using C# and DNN 6.2 When I download the DNN Starter Kit I install it but when I run VS2008 the DNN Module Template still isn't there so I cannot create any DNN Modules. What am I missing?

are the templates copied to the right folder? Module Templates should be located in [my documents\Visual Studio 2008\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual Web Developer\CSharp

If they are not, just copy them in manually. Or take a look at https://christoctemplate.codeplex.com..., however, you may need to use an older version of that, as you are using quite an old setup.

Thank you for replying, I think you have misunderstood the problem I have. When I create I module I would go to Add New Item and then select the DNN Module Template but at the moment it is not available. I always thought downloading and installing the DNN Starter Kit would provide the Template but it has not worked. I have two new Modules to create but without the DNN Module Template I'm stuck.

Is there more to installing the DNN Starter Kit or should I download something else?

I did not misunderstood. Are the templates in the folder location that I specified before? If not, then something must have gone wrong with the installation.

The module templates in the starter kit have not been updated for a long time, you'd better use alternative templates in the first place
