On the front page of http://www.oaklandsymphonychorus.org we have a text module entitled Meet the Oakland Symphony Chorus.  This module was followed by a Media module displaying a posed photograph of the chorus.  Since I upgraded the site from DNN 5.6.8 to DNN 6.2.8, the photo doesn't display although it is on the site and the Media module seems to point to it.

We have extension Media 4.0.0 installed, not changed since DNN 5.6.8, where this file displayed.  I tried to upgrade to Media 4.4.2 and got a "you need an upgrade" error.  I see that the list of displayable files in the Media module does not include JPG but I don't see how I can add that to the list of supported filetypes, even as host.  Help, please?

the easiest option to display a single image would be using HTML module, rich text editors usually contain an icont for inserting it, though it is hidden in versions of RAD editor.
I suggest using CKEditor (dnnckeditor.codeplex.com).
Note: please check Host > Extensions, section Provider. if you still find FckEditor installed, please uninstall for security reasons.

In fact, my first try at fixing this involved looking in the HTML module for the <IMG> tag.  I didn't find it so I tried to create it.  Clicking on the "add image" icon produces the link box behind the edit module.  Two of us have been unable to get to the linking box without closing the pop-up editor module.  What do we have to do to make that box appear in front of the editor where we can use it?

I also tried to insert the <IMG> tag manually in the "Source" window for the module, and when I tried to preview it, nothing showed.  I may have inaccurately assumed that I could use a standard string for the base URL "../../" - does that actually work on an ASP site or do I have to type out the entire URL?

I have checked the Providers extension and we do have the FckEditor installed.  I don't see (logged in as host) how I would uninstall it.  It doesn't have a "delete me" option.

to delete FckEditor provider, it needs not to be the default editor (see web.config file or Host > HTML manager, installing CKEditor will make it default automatically) any you have to use Extensions module in HOST menu.

Installing CKEditor did the trick - a much nicer interface and I can easily add the image in the HTML module.  However, although CKEditor is now the default, FCKEditor is still in the providers list.  Is there something else I should do?
