Hi, Hopefully someone can advise.

Like an idiot I upgraded XMod DetailView on a DNN 4.9.5 site but I put the DNN 5 version on now I just have a blank page whenever I click on an item in list view the detail page has no content.

Is there an easy way to roll back the installation? I see the uninstall option but I am not sure if I hit that whether it will erase all the data.

Anybody else made this sort of error and got out of it in one piece?

Thanks,

Peter

Hi Peter,

The XMod Detail View is designed as a standalone module, so you would provide a normal HTML hyperlink to that page. If you're getting a blank page when clicking on the detail link for an item, you probably haven't defined a detail view for that template.

I do not recommend uninstalling because it will delete all your data.

XMod Classic has been out of production for quite some time. If you need further help, give us a shout at http://support.dnndev.com and I'll see if we can help out.

Best,
Kelly
