I would like to show an event list within a narrow left pane and when the event is clicked show the details on a new page. However, the details are rendered in the same narrow pane which throws off the site. I thought -- bad memory though -- that the original events module did this?

Am i missing somethng?

I am beta testing the latest version. So it appears that I could not show a list with event start and title on the home page in a 250px column since the details will force the column to an unacceptable width. o well

I recently checked out 3.3.7 on my DNN 4.4.1 Installation. Thanks for all that great work that has been done!!
Anyway, there is one thing that confuses me. You changed the behaviour of the module (earlier detail view displayed in the default skin) to detail view displaying in the same pane as the calling view using the same skin.
What I was hoping for was the possibity to place detail view in a different pane or even better to another tab since the two views may always have different requirements on space and appearence..?!

This in order to realize a "common?" scenario like this:
Calendar view on Home page (in a narrow side pane) -> clicking on an event redirects to a new tab having list view on a side pane and detail view (with the selected event shown) in a main pane.

Am I right that this can not be done with the current module or did I simply miss something?
