I would like to import events to the calendar. I am on Events module 3.02. I see that there is an IMPORT Content and EXPORT Content function in the menu, but I cannot get it to work. Any suggestions?

I would also like to import content into the events module.  Clicking on the Help icon tell me that "Administrators can import content"  Thats great!  It looks like I can point to a file - would that be an Excel file?  Text file?  Any particular format/layout?

I, also, have gotten this far. It appears to me that it wants an xml file and I have prepared that and moved it into the root. But, when I click to import the file it cannot apparently see that file. The import drop down does not provide for selecting directories. It is looking somewhere, but I do not know where.

A while back I wrote an internal app using listx that imported an excel spreadsheet of events. It's not really polished enough for client use but it was a lifesaver when we needed to pull a calendar with 300+ events. Here's a link:
