I don't want to get in a disagreement...but can you please define "Content Creator".
You've confused "site owner" with Administrator or Host and changing the term to "content creator" hasn't helped further any understanding. Here is the definition copied directly from the first line of my usage scenario:
The site owner has edit rights (but not Admin rights) for this module and manages their events here.
My "site owner" is your "3) Module "Edit" Users only have rights to the events they create"

You cannot expect a linked module (ex. List Module instance pointing to a another Event module Instance, using the subcalendar feature) to override the original module authorization.
I don't.. and that's why I questioned why it displays the Edit link. Here again is the relevant piece from my feedback efforts:
This is presumably because the event details were reached via the homepage module, for which the site owner does not have edit rights. But then it should not display the link to allow editing?
I think I was quite clear and if you took me up on my offer of the host account on the site I specifically set up to test this module, you'll find that all my points are accurate. Do you really think I have time to waste making a long detailed post like that just for kicks? I was very careful that I got it right, because of your manner in responding to previous feedback by myself and others. I don't want to waste your time any more than I want mine wasted.
I will however make a change and next time break my post up into smaller more easily digestible items.
Hope that helps.
Best regards,
Rob
