Hi,  Thanks for the opprotunity to test this module, I hope I can provide useful information.  I do have a question.  Is it possible to install one events module on a  portal and have an administrator add/edit events for individual users in a role?  When a user logs in they will see only their own events, when admin logs in the see everybody's events.  If this is already possible, could you give a few pointers?

Thanks again.

Hi Mike,

This isn't supported within once instance of a module at the moment. However, depending on the number of users, the effect could be achieved by:

  • Creating a module instance for each user, creating a security group for each user, and then making the module only visible to that security group. User can then view/add/edit/delete events.
  • Creating an instance that is only visible to the admin. Make all other instances, subcalendars to this one. Admin can then view/edit/delete events, but must go to the users individual instance to add.

Of course if you have 10's of users this would be unmanageable.

Roger
