Hi,

1. When I install version 5 of the events module, the monthly calandar fills the module. If I make a change in the settings module (ie change the Event time zone) the module shrinks to small calanedar. If I add an event, the size of the day increases to the size of the event description. Is now happened a couple of times with different changes to settings.

2. I'd still like to see the ability to choose the day the week starts.

Thanks

Paul

Hi Paul,

This symptom suggests that you are using DNN 5.0.0, in which there is a known bug. Upgrading to DNN 5.0.1 prior to install of the module will stop it happening.

To resolve this problem, rename the directories under the ~\DesktopModules\Themes directory with the correct capitalisation, and then reset your module settings:-

  • Default
  • Events
  • FixedBlue
  • Gray
  • Small

If you would like a change in functionality to the module, please raise the request on Gemini so that it can be properly assessed and tracked. You will have seen we have over 75 changes in version 5 of the Events module, and we simply can't track all requests without the use of Gemini.

Cheers
Roger

Hi,

I have redone the capitlisation as noted, changed the setting and the moudule is ok.

I wonder what that means in terms of DNN 5.0.1?

Paul

Hi,

I thought I'd run the install through on 5.0.1, and it had gone OK. I'll check the distribution package.

Cheers
Roger
