I just upgraded 2 sites, one at work running on windows 2008R2 from 7.1.2 to 7.2.0 and one at home running on Windows 2012 from 7.1.2 to 7.2.0.

I noticed that on both sites, when I go to ADMIN -> FILE MANAGEMENT, then "EDIT PAGE", press the pen to get to "MANAGE FOLDER TYPES", the choice "ADD NEW TYPE" is removed, I can only do "CANCEL".

Could anyone please advice how to get that button back, or if the procedure to do this has changed? It is very important for me to get this to work, since I just purchased the Evotiva module DNN Globalstorage to be able to reach folders located in our AD domain network.

Thanks for any hint!

doesn't a new name show up after you installed an additional folder provider?

Hi Sebastian,

I think you are misunderstanding me.
On my "vanilla" installation of DNN 7.1.2 at home, I looked at ADMIN -> FILE MANAGEMENT, went to EDIT PAGE and clicked the pen for "MANAGE FOLDER TYPES". There was then  an option "ADD NEW TYPE".

Then I updated to 7.2.0, went to exactly the same place, and "ADD NEW TYPE" is gone. Only "CANCEL" exist as an option.

Doesn't it sound a bit like this:

Have you upgraded to 7.2.0? Could you have a look if you still have "ADD NEW TYPE" as an option?

I have a new install of DNN 7.2.0, ant the option is no longer present.
I know, there had been some work at Digital Asset Management and
maybe this option has been moved to Foldertype provider section?

Thanks for replying Sebastian!

If you (or anyone else) that reads this could just tell me where in 7.2.0 I can add another foldertype, which is a prerequisite for getting the module DNNGlobalStorage to work that I have just purchased.
