Since this is a new forum, with no posts, I figured I would create a post with some useful upgrade links.

Here's a link to a blog post I made on how to upgrade DNN http://www.dnndaily.com/tips/itemId/31756/How-to-upgrade-DotNetNuke.aspx.

Also you should check out Will's post on recommended Upgrade paths, it will direct you down proven upgrade paths http://www.willstrohl.com/Blog/tabid/66/EntryId/102/Suggested-DotNetNuke-Site-Upgrade-Path-s.aspx.

One thing to always keep in mind, ALWAYS backup your website and database before attempting an upgrade.

I'll update this post with working links when the forums are fixed.

Andreastipa, you seem to understand the blog post fine, except you don't need to delete anything.

As for upgrading a module, you install the new version as you would install a new module, from the host extensions page.
