After a recent update to DNN 5.3.1 I noticed that several Module were also out of date.

I downloaded them and then started applying them. First the Announcements.  It seemed to fail at the very end with when I looked and tested it now seems to be the upgraded module.

I then tried the DNN Survey and got the same results.  A failure notice, an error (below) but it seems to have updated and it works.

Can someone tell me what this is and whether I need to fix something before I continue?

Thanks,

Mike

I'm running into the same error when installing a custom module on my live 5.3.1 site.  Works fine on my development machine.

Have you had any luck figuring this one out??

Thanks,

Marty

Not yet Marty.  So far no one has offered any help and i have no idea what the error at that location indicates.

It does happen on all Module upgrades.  With one module I first tried to Remove it and I got a number of errors.  Then I put it back and got the same error.

I am baffled.  So far, on those modules I have upgraded they seem to be working however it could be a house of cards.  I am afraid that one day someone will help to fix them and all of their content will disappear.

Good luck and keep me in the loop.

Mike

I've seen this error a few times now in the last 2 weeks, have you guys worked out what the issue is?

Hello, I'm having this same issue after upgrading from 5.2 to 5.4.    Can't install any modules.   Has anyone found a solution?
