 This is a non-related issue.  I guess you should get the hosting proivder to check the database.

  Because of the code involved, the only functions which should be affected would be the import/export and search functions and any upgrade logic that the module may have executed.

 I tried this.

Originally, that config file had alot of chinese gobbledegook in it. The nice lads at PowerDNN restored the file from an old backup for me, and let me know what the PrivateKey was, so I replaced the contents with the correctly formatted XML with the correct key.

I installed a new module fine without error.

I tried to install a new version of an old module and got an error ... although, it appears the module installed and is working.

The problem was for me also in 5.4.2. The solutions of Joe Brinkman (delete the eventqueue.config file) worked for me.

I have the same problems in upgrading to 5.4.2.
I upgrade a module, and get the same errors, but the module is upgraded.

Worst is, that everything looks like working fine when logged in, but when logged out, nothing can be seen: only a critical error! See my other thread:

I want to try to delete this eventqueue.config file - Please tell me where exactly I find this file?
