Dear all,

We recently had an upgrade from 4.9.5 to 5.3.1 and then from 5.3.1 to 5.6.0.
The upgrades went fine and the site works ok, except that I am unable to change the settings in the existing modules.
When I open an html module and change the permissions, it does not "stick".

Let me explain: the permission settings get changed but do not show in most of the modules.
The permissions settings do not change or show any change in the html modules.

Any comments or suggestions?

Many thanks in advance,

L

Luis, how do permissions look like - are locks properly listed in "Admins" row? I always suggest upgrading via most stable versions, in this case 5.2.3 or 5.3.1

Hi, Leopold. Thanks for the reply. I see no "lock" icons anywhere. We did, in fact, upgrade from 5.3.1 At that level it seemed fine. The problem is that the site is live and downgrading for such a small thing would be a hassle...can you advise? Many thanks in advance, L

Something I did notice, however, is that the padlocks do appear...but only when I view the site in its local server as localhost...any clues? Thanks!
