Hello, I've updated a client site today from 5.6.0 to 5.6.1 and we can no longer login as host. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Just run this script:

If  Exists(SELECT 1 FROM Tabs WHERE TabPath Like ‘//Host%’ AND PortalID Is Not Null)

–Fix it

UPDATE  Tabs SET PortalID= Null WHERE TabPath Like ‘//Host%’ AND PortalID Is Not NULL

Did you copy over the <machineKey> node from your previous web.config file? My issue was that I was unable to login at all.

Edward,
Thank you for reminding me to take the stupid pill antidote...!!!  Doesn't matter how many times I've done this and I still left that simple yet effective step behind. Thank you kindly!

Mike, why do you change web.config during upgrade? DNN auto-merge should do it itself without any changes from your side.
