Hi,

I've upgraded from DNN 5.x to 6.0.1.  Upon logging into DNN 6.0.1 as Host, I'm getting the following errors.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

John

Did your upgrades go ok?

I'm getting this too, only when I log on as host (of course having logged in, I can't now log out) and I can see that the DDR menu upgrade to 1.99.05 didn't go through, so I suspect that that is part of the problem.

So, just to reply to my own post.

Having decided that my installation of DDRMenu wasn't perfect (the DNN installation itself dates back to v2.x.x and has been upgraded slowly, always a point or two release behind, and the ddrMenu version was version 1.2.2) and that the web.config definitions related to the old version of DNNDoneRight.DDRMenu, I decided that clearing out and starting again would probably be beneficial.

In 4.9.5 I set my default skin/container to Minimal Extropy then uninstalled DDR Menu, and removed the reference to it in web.config, this all worked fine.

Then upgraded to 5.6.3 and checked everything worked ok.

Then upgraded to 6.0.1 and then installed ddrMenu 2.0.1 for dnn6; all ok.

Changed app pool to use .net4, and recycled it.

All was ok, so I reinstated my original skin and it works a treat.
