After doing a DNN 7 upgrade from DNN 5.5, I am unable to edit content in the HTML module on Portal zero. Interestingly, I can edit content on Portal 1 just fine. On Portal zero, I cannot get the Edit Content hover menu to show up and the pencil for edit only shows to extreme left hand side and then I can only edit the title of the module. However, there is no problem in Portal 1 using the same HTML module, I get the pencil for Edit Content in the correct spot and I can bring up the Edit Content UI no problem.   Baffling

this typically is a skin related issue i.e. invalid html/script - to test this you could change the skin of portal0 to the same as portal1. If that resolves it you will then have to check your portal0 skin and try to work out what the issue is (try using the F12 tools to identify unexpected css inheritance/invalid html)

I see.  That makes sense as i deep linked into the site and found that some of the HTML modules did work on Portal zero.  I am suspecting it is related to a CSS menu from DNN360.net.  I looked to see if there was an update to DNN360's CSS.SideMenu, but I could not find one.  Did they go out of business?

thanks,

~aw

not as far as I'm aware, and if I check the store I can see that they updated a module in early june of this year (http://store.dnnsoftware.com/vendor-profile/daoa), might be worth trying emailing. Note: a number of users have reported issues with this menu (including a few where the menu causes an exception when a DNN upgrade occurred as the menu was doing direct sql access and not using the DNN API)
