Sebastain,

I only modified the lists table directly to replace Page: with the components as identified by Timo.  This had NO effect on the issue.  The interesting thing is that even though the DNN Lists Table shows the updated information for the Page Data Type, the display under Hosts>Lists does not reflect the change.  Is there a problem retrieving data from this table?

Regards
Hans

the list might have been duplicated to Portal Level (Admin > Lists) - or you missed to restart DNN, after your changes.

Sebasrain

thanks for your replies.  The lists are not duplicated.  In fact there are only two lists for Admin>Lists. I have just restarted the web server and the application and the data on the database is not the same as that shown on the Host>Lists display for DataType.

Below is a picture of the extraction from the database:

Below is a display from the Host>Lists display:

This really appears to be strange.  Any help would be appreciated.  Is this table loaded into memory and not refreshed when needed?

Regards
Hans

Hans,
most of DNN data is cached, and sometimes a Cache Invalidation is missing after update.
But after an app restart, it should show up properly. ATM I am out of ideas, sorry.

Cheers from Germany,

I noticed the same issue with ver 7.4.1 (after upgrade) and resolved it by the following:

1. In table “ProfilePropertyDefinition” made sure for the column IsDeleted all the values are 0 (i.e. Not deleted).

NB: if one deletes a default Profile Setting property (Admin > Site Settings > User Account Settings) or creates and then deletes a custom Profile property it is never deleted from the database but rather flagged IsDeleted (value 1)

2. In table “Lists” in the column ListName for the BannedPasswords-0 made sure the value cell is empty and the text cell is empty this applies for any other portal in your website i.e. BannedPasswords-X.

NB: these are the values on a fresh installation. (I had 12345 and Placeholder values respectively)

4. Manually deleted all the rows in table Lists for the BannedPasswords as is not possible to do so from the Host > Lists
