Hello,
Fed up having my DNN 6.2.9 installation under attack and not being able to find any trace whatsoever in my IIS logs I decided to give it a last try and upgrade my installation to the latest DNN version.
After reading the suggested upgrade path on this page
http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/upgrading-dotnetnuke
I proceded to upgrade my installation to 7.3.2. The first try failed. I had a problem I solved by removing all content from the APP_Code/XML folder as suggested.
At that point I read about another issue and removed all contents from the Install/modules.
After this I proceeded to stop all application pools, copy the files in the backup copy of the DNN directory, swapped names between the old directory and the one with the upgrade files, refired my pools and went on with my upgrade.
Every single passage gave a green success status but when I finally clicked on the Click here to reach your website link I got an internal serve error 500.
I tried another portal and this time it worked but all the instances of the feedback module are gone from the page.
At this point I tried another website on the same installation and got a 500 Error.
I tried to Login to install a new instance of the Feedback module and see what was going on and got an internal server error.
Plus I got all sorts of bizarre behaviors. Some sites work, some don't, one throws an ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
Any Idea how to solve the problem and most of all what the problem is about??
Thanks
