I am not sure if this is the appropriate location for this topic, however I could not see another place that would be well suited for this issue.

We are currently running Evoq 8.02.00, and for a couple of weeks everything was working great. Then sometime in early late October or early November we received a Windows Update message on our computer at our agency that required us all to reboot our machines. From that moment onward, our DNN website has ceased to function wherever there was a Telerik AJAX "Loading Panel" (ie: Spinning Circle). Any page that uses this loading panel from Tekerik simple gets stuck, forcing the user to stare at a spinning circle infinitely.

This problem is not observed in Chrome or Firefox, or older MSIE browsers; only the latest version of MSIE 11.x.

Has anyone else come across this problem? I search exhaustively online and haven't come across anyone else complaining about this issue. I find it hard to believe that this is something only we are experiencing.

This issue is causing serious problems with our end-users because (our end-users are school districts) our end-users in many cases lock down their computer systems and only install one browser (ie: MSIE). Many of them do not allow other browsers on their system and once they upgraded none of them can function on our site anymore. Telling them to use another browser is unfortunately not an effective answer for many of them.

Any assistance regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.

-Ben

Ben,
Have you opened a ticket with our support department to help you troubleshoot the issue (assuming this is an issue for Evoq Content or Evoq Engage)? I can take a look from our side to see if we've come across this issue prior but your best bet would be to open a ticket so that we can get someone looking at this right away.

Sanjay,

Yes I have created a ticket already, I was told "we are looking into it". No response yet, just thought I would widen the search net by posting in the forums too in case anyone else has come across this same issue.

This has been addressed through our Support portal. For anyone else who might be having the same issue, here's an update from Ben:
Upon a further detailed investigation on my end, I actually found the resolution to the problem. Apparently when MS released their latest MSIE v11 a couple of months ago, it was in tandem with a release of a new ASP.Net Framework version to be installed on Web Servers (v4.0.30319.1026). We had v4.0.30319.1 installed on our web server. This version did not support the new MSIE with regards to the Telerik AJAX controls, causing any page that shows the spinning wait circle to freeze indefinitely.

Forcibly applying the Windows Updates for ASP.Net 4.0 and upgrading it to the latest version on our web server actually resolved the incompatibility issues with MSIE v11.x
