Hello,

I was trying to upgrade my site from a very old version of DNN (don't recall the version) to version 8.0.  I was following the steps on this thread: http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/upgrading-dotnetnuke   and all was going smoothly until it got past the database scripts and got to upgrading to 7.2 (I think).  It hung on that installation for about an hour until I decided to try to refresh. Once I refreshed I was presented with the screen that says:

Upgrading DotNetNuke

Version: 08.00.00

Installation Status Report

00:00:00.078 - There is an installation currently in progress. Please try again later.

And it has been like this since yesterday.  Can anyone provide some help on how to proceed with this issue?  It is on a sandbox site currently (thankfully) so I could try out the installation for when I upgrade the live site.

did you upgrade in multiple steps?
are you able to close the browser window and restart upgrade?

I just followed the instructions provided in the link I posted, so I'm not sure if that's technically multiple steps or not.  To answer your second question, that doesn't work.  I've tried different browsers and different computers and get the same message.

restore latest backup from before the upgrade (files and database) and retry.
Make sure you unblocked the downloaded upgrade package file (in file properties), prior to unzipping the files contained.
