Hi guys and gals,
Sorry for the newbie question, but... I am developing a module that will store and display thumbnail images, and when clicked on larger versions of the thumbnails... where should I store the images in dotnetnuke... I am assuming I should put meta data in SQL Server to the actual location of the image on the file system... is this correct?  if so where on the file system, if not, would you store the images in sql?

Thanks in advance

For store images(or other files) you can use DNN API (FileSystemUtils class). It has a lot of methods for working with file system. All files store in your portals folder, fer example, /Portals/0.

Check our dnn modules and dotnetnuke skins to see where you can start.
