Hello All,
I am creating a module called "Granite Picker".  I have my scripts for my database and when I install all my tables are created in SQL Server 2008 without any issues.  I have created an Entity Model and have an edmx file in Visual Studio.  I am trying to follow the suggested "Shell" of SQLDataProvider --> DataProvider.  in the SqlDataProvider I need to provide it the "connectionString" and then need to supply this to my model.

  • Where should I store the .edmx file in my module when I install?
  • Should I  have an entry for my LINQ Conection string in the web.config and then suply this to my instance of my model?

Does anyone know of any good tutorials for DNN 5.x.x Module development with LINQ to Entities?  Thanks all!

- T
