I'm running Windows 7, VS 2008 SP1, SQL 2008 R2.  I've installed the DNN starter kit and when I do this in a newly-created DNN WSP:

1) Right-click the project in solution explorer and choose Add New Item.
2) Choose DotNetNuke Dynamic Module, set the language to C#, and name the module "Profile.".
3) Click the Add button.

I get a module called Philip.Profile.  When I do the same thing but choose VB, it comes out as YourCompany.Profile.

How can I get it to use a different module qualifier, or no qualifier at all?

Thanks,
Doug

please follow the instructions on the welcome page to rename default qualifiers, which should be "Your Company" in all languages, but reading your description, it sounds, like someone made a mistake (don't ask me about his name ;) )

hey Doug, I think i found a way to change the "Philip" thing. instructions for C# template go to C:\Documents and Settings\"your user"\My documents\Visual Studio 2010\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual Web Developer\ and unzip Dynamic_CS.zip inside the unzip contents should be a file DotNetNuke Module.vstemplate open it a text editor and change the line that reads like this to Save the file put it back on Dynamic_CS.zip And your done, It should also work for VB templates Cheers
